Grade 1 and 2
The first two years of formal schooling is a transition time and our primary focus is to develop the LSRW skills ( Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) and basic arithmetic. The students do not have any formal examinations but continuous assessments as fundamentals need to be learned.
We encourage all students and strongly believe in the multiple intelligence theory of Howard Gardner and identify the strengths of each pupil and support a lot as the theory states different ways about human intelligence. It makes us create assessments and pedagogical practices to suit the range of learners in the classroom.
We follow the XSEED researched curriculum and the Jolly Grammar and phonics.
