The Story of Ravilla Vidyalaya (KRA CBSE) School
After a span of 25 years and establishing trust among the parents of Kovilpatti by producing continuous innings of ranks of being the top in the district and state the management decided to expand the choice by offering the central board. of education, the most sought after today for the innovative practices and pan Indian presence.
The Correspondent has been working with the CBSE school in Coimbatore for over 15 years so it is no new venture.
The school which was inaugurated during the start of the pandemic has been online since its inception and has been successful in completing one year by following all norms of the CBSE stringently.
Committing once again to providing the best and seeking the blessings of the Almighty and earning the goodwill of the parents of the town we strive to offer the best.

How did Ravilla KRA Start its journey?
The intention of starting a good school emerged in the mind of our Executive Trustee Mrs.Vasunthara Selvaraj when she had to put her kids in the hostel of Kothanoor convent at the age of 3 ½ years and it was strengthened when she was happened to see particulars of the people for whom our founder Shri. Appaswamy Naidu Garu helped with education.
This is how Ravilla K.R.A.Vidhyashram started with 38 children in 1995 on the premises of the Zamin Palace, Ilayarasanendal. The venue was shifted in 1996 to the farmhouse located in NH7, 4 km away from the town. As the quality of education spoke and our students were ambassadors, the strength tripled every year without any advertisement and door-to-door canvassing. Communicative English and Etiquette manners were our prime criteria at the primary level.
How Ravilla KRA developed Students Communication Skill?
The communicative language was developed with the help of English people through the scheme “Teaching Abroad”. Their stay with the students gave them confidence in speaking English in a native style.
The confidence level of the student was again developed by organizing inter-school competitions at a very early stage when our school had only primary classes. Handling Technology was made possible for our students in the year 2003 through “Sky Lab”.
“ XSEED” and “ Jolly Phonics”
We were the first in introducing the “ XSEED” methodology, “ Jolly Phonics” as we gave importance to reading, concept learning, and creative writing. The students learned with the fun and frolic activity and stood unique with their well-mannered behavior in the society in all walks of their life and that made it so prestigious for the public to get admissions to our institution.
Ravilla KRA Vidhyashram shifted to Suba Nagar in 2006
We produced the first set of X Matric for the board exam in 2004. Our school was shifted to its permanent well ventilated building at Suba Nagar, in 2006. When the school was rated, based on its result, we stood first on the map by producing top scores. Overall excellence was our motto.
Ravilla KRA bagged all the three district-level marks!
Our last set of Matric in the year 2008 bagged all the three district-level marks is one of the examples, which gave an initiative for starting Higher Secondary. From then onwards both in X & XII board exams district and state-level marks continued.
Ravilla KRA celebrated Silver Jubilee in 2019!
As our management took initiative for all innovative international programs, despite its location in a small town our school was on par with the schools in metropolitan cities. We were able to achieve the best in academics, sports, and extracurricular competitions.
Thus we successfully traveled 25 years and celebrated our Silver Jubilee in November 2019, which was the end of regular classes.
How Ravilla KRA Conductd word-class Virtual Classes during the Pandemic?
During the lockdown period when people were going through an unexplained turmoil we started researching engaging the student through online classes to take care of their physical and mental well-being of students. Our online classes are planned with a lot of care including screen breaks with yoga and eye exercises.
We have both synchronous and asynchronous classes with blended learning. Apart from academics, many webinars were conducted by using scholars in various fields as resource persons.
INDO-USA stem education program
We gave a chance for our students to interact with those of the USA through the INDO-USA stem education program.
As a result, in Ravilla we provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers, and inspired learners and make them well prepared to thrive in the 21st century.
My unflinching belief has always been that those who find pleasure in diligent dedicated and disciplined life reap a bountiful harvest in the form of satisfaction.
