CLUBS@RAVILLA

Each child has potential and skill and each of them has every right to get an opportunity to cherish, bring it out and prove it to the world. It is also important to inculcate values like compassion to all living beings around, connect to nature, the society they live in, and the world of technology they are heading to. Our current academic structure is somewhat limited to cater to all these requirements. That is where the clubs and their activities come in support of the facilitators to help kids choose, engage and prove their mettle according to their passion and interests. Following are the clubs at Ravilla.

Paws and Claws – Birds and Animals club:

The world belongs to these beings too. We filled the water bodies chopped down trees for building our developments and blocked the source of their food and shelter. Now our new generation are teaming up to save birds, local breeds of animals and make sure they all get their food and shelter through awareness programs and adoption drives.

Green Heart – The environment club:

The green earth brigadiers of Ravilla always focused on reduce reuse and recycle policies. Conducted rallies on reducing use of plastic, activities on composting and school gardening and terrace gardening at home, and save soil program to create awareness on importance of saving the soil against chemical usages and improving soil quality by natural ways.

Bibliotheque – The book club

The school has an extensive library of handpicked books suitable for all age groups. This club is to encourage the reading habits in students and give them opportunities to read, analyze and review each book they read through weekly book discussion sessions.

Scribe Tribe – Language club:

If a child is good at listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in all the languages they know, it is equivalent to exploring half of the world. That elevates their self-esteem and confidence and improves their learning experiences at school and in real life. This club aims at all language skills through interesting activities like reading, recitation, elocution, spelling bee, debates, and public speaking.

SEWA – Community service club:

Be human.. Be compassionate is this club’s motto. To identify the needy and their needs from the society around and team up to plan on how we can reach out to them.

Parampara – Heritage club

We get fascinated by the heritage that is illustrated in the textbooks, but the amazing heritage spots, the abundance of artistic and traditional skills, and historical places in and around our city are mostly neglected. This club aims at bringing out the glory and heritage of our own Kovilpatti, which is actually rich with history and traditions.

Srishti – Visual arts club

This club is for the students who love to draw, paint, designing, sculpture, crafts, and embroidery.

Sanskruthi – Performing arts club

The club encourages talents in music, dance and drama/theatrics.
