BEYOND ACADEMICS

A school is where the child develops into a responsible citizen who is intelligent, skillful, and confident. This can be achieved by giving opportunities to the students to develop leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, crisis management, and expertise in the skills that he or she is passionate about. These skills that the children acquire today will make them winners in employability, creativity, productivity, health and well-being in years to come, not simply their school attendance and progress report grades. This indeed will help ensure their society and nation thrive.

Team Ravilla aims at this holistic development of each student entrusted to us through opportunities created beyond academics catering to the students’ signature strengths. In order to capture the full range of abilities and talents that our younger generation possesses, we need to plan and execute programs and activities keeping all the multiple intelligence in consideration.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Olympiads

The current career world identifies talents through egalitarian competitive examinations. It is imperative that the students be familiar with such competitive examinations from the younger classes. Olympiad exams do not just give the opportunity to master competitive examinations, but also give them an analysis of their strengths and areas that need to focus on. It also takes them out of the box learning experience. At Ravilla, we train and encourage students for these Olympiad exams and various other intraschool, interschool, and national level competitive examinations.

LSRW Sessions

Ravilla emphasizes on the LSRW skills of kids of younger classes so they can be transitioned to the concept learning habit by the time they reach the middle school.

Apart from the regular competitions and activities planned throughout the academic year, the language clubs have devised various activities for inculcating reading habits in students, ability to speak fluent language, and encourage creative writing appropriate to the age groups.

These activities include English and the second language the student has opted for.

Math Lab

The school has an extensive math lab where the students can engage and learn by doing. Students get access to games and puzzle materials to learn and explore mathematical concepts ad verify mathematical formulae and theorems.
